L1 Trainee Onsite Engineer
Position Closed Hyderabad Full-time Fresher(20 Open Position) 2.3 LPA
The Network Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure reliable internet and network services. The role includes NOC monitoring, L1 troubleshooting, customer support, and onsite installation and maintenance.
What You'll Do
- Monitor network performance and respond to alerts.
- Identify and troubleshoot network outages and connectivity issues.
- Provide L1 support and escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams.
- Troubleshoot internet and broadband connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, modems, ONTs, and wireless devices.
- Visit customer locations for troubleshooting and equipment replacement.
- Communicate service issues and updates to customers and internal teams.
- Help restore services quickly and maintain network availability.
What We're Looking For
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and BGP.
- Knowledge of routers, switches, modems, and ONTs.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
- Basic troubleshooting skills using Ping, Traceroute, Telnet, SSH, and SNMP.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations for onsite support.
