We are looking for a Network Support Engineer with good knowledge of CCNA, Switching, and Routing concepts. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure. The role involves working with routers, switches, VLANs, routing protocols, and basic network services, while supporting day-to-day network operations and resolving connectivity issues. The candidate should have good troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills and be willing to learn and work with different networking technologies.
What You'll Do
- Required Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of CCNA fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of Switching concepts:
- VLANs
- Access & Trunk ports
- Inter-VLAN Routing
- STP/RSTP
- EtherChannel
- Good understanding of Routing concepts:
- Static & Default Routing
- OSPF
- Basic BGP knowledge
- Route selection
- Good knowledge of IP addressing and subnetting.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, ARP, DHCP, and DNS.
- Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting using Ping, Traceroute, and common CLI commands.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches and routers.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
